Can a Bulletproof Vest protect against more than one shot?

During the testing of Bulletproof Vest prototypes, they are shot six times in different areas and are required to protect against all six shots in order to pass testing.

But what happens if two bullets hit in the same spot?

This is not a routine test, but it has been performed. After repeatedly shooting the vest in the same spot there was still no complete penetration despite multiple rounds being fired. However, after examining the vest post-test, the bullets did appear to be traveling further and further into the fabric of the vest, making the impact more severe. The Bulletproof Vests will clearly protect you very well. Still, if you are shot while wearing one, we recommend replacing it.
